The Basics of Improv 


Level 1: The Basics of Improv is a six-week on-line improv class which will help you take your first steps into the world of improvisation. The course will help you learn the fundamental tools of improv through engaging exercises and group game play designed to bolster your soft skills (agreement, active listening, being supportive, etc.) and lay the foundation that will allow you to create without self-judgment. Level 1 provides a safe environment to explore your creative potential and experience the freedom and joy of improvisational play. The class is the perfect starting place for those with zero improv experience or for those wanting to refresh their improv fundamentals.

Level 1 runs for 6 consecutive sessions on the same day and time as the first class unless otherwise stated.

Tuition: $199

Prerequisites: None. This class is open to all.

Class size: 10 students maximum

Location: This class is taught 100% online

Class length: 2 hours (12 hours total)

Schedule: 6 sessions; Once a week for six weeks


Students MUST be present for the FIRST and LAST classes without exception. Missing class is never advised, but participants are allowed to miss up to two class sessions and still remain eligible for class advancement.

There are no make-up classes.
